London Calling.......

I have spent the week end getting ready to embark on a trip to the other side of the world. This is what it feels like....literally! I travelled alot before I was married and had children, however since then my wanderlust has completely petered out and I have become entrenched in being at home. I know people travel all the time, but just not me! To me it seems well....foreign! I can travel the world on my laptop and I am totally content doing so. But now it is time for my children and I to venture out of our comfort zone and see the world! Well, just London and Scotland to be precise, but nevertheless a whole world away.

I have spied a few things while 'surfing' the world in my usual way.....

Fun prints to frame and remind you of where you have been or would like to go.

Beautiful Union Jack cushions to make you long for the mother country.

An elegant sofa no-one could miss,
Domino

and more subtle touches of red white and blue in the form of flags.

So, home of.....
Nigella,

Twinings tea,

Hugh

Mr Darcy

 and Boden

..........................here I come!

We will be away for almost 3 weeks but I hope to be posting regularly and keep you updated as to what I have been up to. Not flying until tomorrow but will be in a flap so in case you don't hear from me then, see you on the other side!

Have so much fun. I love London this time of year. And if you can manage to post while traveling, WITH children, I will truly feel inadequate.

OMgoodness, how exciting! What a wonderful time you are going to have.... and with your children too. I can't wait to travel again with my boys... have been waiting a long time... waiting for the opportunity and waiting for them to be at an age where they will appreciate it and cherish the memories. So pleased that you can post while you are away. Tell us what you and the kids get up to for those of us who will one day be following in your footsteps! Bon Voyage! A-M xx
