And now it seems......

I am noticing birds at every tern. (get it? Turn....tern!)

This would have to be one of my all time favourite entrances.......a welcome of birds, beautfully placed on grass cloth. Feast your eyes on the rest......

All by the clever Tom Scheerer, who it seems, is very fond of birds.

I would love to get my hands on these specimens too......they make a true focal point.
If you can get your hands on some birds, I thoroughly recomend it. They are happy in any room in the house and of course, prefer being in  flock.
OK, enough twitching - see you next week!

Ah, would all these curiosity of birds be something to do with NESTING, perhaps?

Have a lovely weekend Kelly - we are off to brave the wilds of Africa at the Werribee open range zoo night - complete with torches and toasted marshmallows. Ooh, can't wait! I'll see if I can spot a wild bird or two...

Ha ha - very clever! Maybe it is nesting....you are right. Enjoy the zoo and make sure you are layered up - it is freezing around these parts! KGxx

Pretty rooms. I like birds as well - my father has a few originals from a biologist who used to draw them for his books - they're gorgeous.

I'm loving birds this season, too! I just put up some Charley Harper bird prints in my living room and love them, though they're more abstract than the ones in this post.

Happy weekend!

Kelly I love that entrance as well. I just need another 2 feet and I could do similar. I also loved the birds. xx Ruth

I adore anything with birds. Fabrics, wallpaper, prints - you name it!

Love birds and any chinoiserie paper with them (especially de Gournay and Gracie!) I too am okay with a "feature wall' in this exception.

Right now I am trying to convince a client to paper her dining room in one. Fingers crossed. Her husband wants paint.
