Old and new.

Just to illustrate that you really can't have one without the other, here is the perfect example.


Old table, new chairs. 
Vintage chandelier, light bright and white renovation. 
I think this is one of the big absolute 'MUSTS' of decorating 101. 
If you don't mix current and old finds, you run the risk of having a souless display home.
Sorry - but thats just the way it is. So get thrifting, scouring and fossicking for those old treasures and bring them inside. You never know what you might find to add the wow factor to your home.

I totally agree! The pieces in our home that draw comment from guests are always the rustic antiques.
