I am interested in bookshelves at the moment, especially ones flanking a fire place. I find these to be exactly to my liking. Not too overbearing and blending in with the overall wall. I know these
things may sound a little obvious,
but it's not until you actually have to think about them do they seem quite important. Of course, the overall look is enhanced by the star of the show, the stone fireplace.
What a restful and inviting room. I know beige is not normally my thing, but in this case I could certainly have my arm twisted!

I am dying to get some built ins for our family room
I have been studying bookcasea as well, but flanking a TV (fireplaces would be less than practical in North QLD!). I'm dreaming of when I can have some built in my living room! :)
